‘Trendious Traffic Gastropub‘
Traffic Gastropub is a name which all the foodies, party goers and pub hoppers in the city are very well acquainted with; located in City Centre New Town, this trendy place is a place to go with your big group of people.
This was my maiden visit here and absolutely my experience was enchanting. The interiors are very well done matching the name and as the name suggests everything inside is related to ‘Traffic Stories’
Traffic Gastropub in this season of World Cup came up with the concept of ‘World Cup Special LIIT’; 10 LIITs specially curated for 10 countries, choose your favourite country, get your LIIT and cheer for your favourite with some drool-worthy array of food.
Some of the LIITs which we tasted were The Chokers Drink, Thunder Down Under, Beed Blue, The Caribbean Fist and In The Name of Lords; my personal favourite was Thunder Down Under.
Among the lavish spread of food, I heartily enjoyed feasting upon the Chilli Chicken Pizza, Chingri Malaikari Pizza, Dragon Fish and Pulse Chicken Tikka.
CHILLI CHICKEN PIZZA: Pizza with chilli chicken twist, this was actually very good in taste, all the ingredients of chilli chicken topped in pizza base with loads of cheese. It tastes as amazing as it sounds.
CHINGRI MALAIKARI PIZZA: Bengali’s soul in pizza, this combination went very well. Thin crust pizza base loaded with cheese and chingri malaikari; chingri malaikari is a traditional bengali dish made with prawns and coconut milk. This prawn preparation over pizza makes a drool-worthy pair.
DRAGON FISH: Goes best with drinks, I fell in love with this fish dish. Cubes of basa battered fried and tossed in sauces, foodgasm at its perfection.
PULSE CHICKEN TIKKA: Chicken tikka blasting with some amazing flavours, the chicken pieces were soft and succulent, goes well as starters.
Overall this place is unique and crowd puller in it’s own way, the ‘No Refusal Menu’ is the attraction which allows to pour liquors in our glasses and mugs at very reasonable rates.
The staffs were very polite and helped us with the menu all through.
All the best to ‘Team Traffic Gastropub’, will visit whenever I happen to cross that side of the city.
